It takes four ingredients to make beer: water, hops, malt and yeast. It takes one more ingredient to make great beer: great people. 

It can only be high quality and handcrafted beer if there are high quality folks behind it. We've got some of the best, all working together to brew, pour and promote Black Market.

Kevin grew up in the foothills near Chico, CA. It was the 1980’s and he watched, and admired, as Sierra Nevada Brewing Company built itself into one of the first great American microbreweries. Years later, as Kevin grew bored with corporate America, he decided to pursue the business and product he had grown up loving—craft beer. In 2007, despite a small budget and limited experience, Kevin started what would become Black Market Brewing Co. out of a tiny 800 sq. ft. industrial garage in Temecula, CA. As Black Market continues to expand and evolve, one thing hasn’t changed—Kevin’s relentless efforts to provide quality, exciting beers to all fans of handcrafted brews.
